Privacy Policy
We built Hi BodyMate with privacy in mind. We do not collect or store your personal data.
Last updated: January 2026
1. Overview
Hi BodyMate ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website at hibodymate.com ("the Site"). We operate under applicable privacy laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and equivalent legislation in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
Hi BodyMate is a client-side tool. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal health data you enter into our calculators. All calculations are performed entirely within your browser. Your measurements — weight, height, waist, neck, and hip circumferences — are never sent to our servers.
3. Data We Store Locally on Your Device
We use your browser's localStorage solely to remember your preferred unit system (Imperial or Metric). This preference:
- Is stored only on your device.
- Is never transmitted to us or any third party.
- Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or site data.
- Contains no personally identifiable information.
4. Cookies
Hi BodyMate does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. If third-party services are added in the future (such as analytics), this policy will be updated and appropriate consent mechanisms will be implemented.
5. Analytics and Tracking
In the current version (V1), Hi BodyMate does not use any third-party analytics services. We do not track page views, user behavior, or any other usage data.
6. Children's Privacy
Hi BodyMate is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our Site, please contact us so we can address it appropriately.
7. Third-Party Services
The Site may display links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers to render our typography. This means your IP address may be sent to Google when fonts are loaded. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access — request a copy of data we hold about you.
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your data.
- Right to object — object to processing of your data.
- Right to portability — receive your data in a portable format.
Since we do not collect or store personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by default. For the localStorage unit preference, you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
9. Data Security
Because we do not collect or transmit personal data, the risk of a data breach involving your health information is minimal by design. We host our Site on Cloudflare Pages, which provides industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all connections.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Contact Us
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us through the Site. We will respond to inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
